V Magazine has some of the most funky, fun, and and exciting editorials. I normally don't
post tons and tons of editorials, but there's something about V Magazine that makes me
wish I was apart of it.
FASHION MEETS FANTASY
Infinite Appeal partnered up with Bebe for charity fashion show "Fashion Meets Fantasy".
With donations going directly to the Red Cross for Haiti relief, numerous people
came to support the cause as well as see what Infinite Appeal had to show. Of
course Atlanta's own Icon was there with his amazing team and model Tierra Benton.
She was by far the best female model to eat the runway.
SHOT ME
A few months ago, I did a feature on Atlanta based photographer Leroy Basnight III. If you missed that interview, click here. Of course, I love to keep up with the amazing individuals I feature and
Mr. Basnight has been a very busy man. Here is one of his latest shoots he did this past Valentine's Day.

I love the concept for the lookbook. It grabs your attention immediately by the awkward
darkness of the images. Not to mention, the head pieces are pretty awesome.
HELSINKI ALL NIGHT LONG
Daniel Palillo A/W 2010 Collection
One of the traits that intrigued me about Palillo as a designer, is the nonchalant attitude
he has towards his creations and himself as an designer. In the Cocaine interview with Palillo
(CLICK HERE), you got a peek at his nonchalant attitude but you also seen humbleness.
When you can have an "I don't really care" attitude yet remain humble in the face of your success,
you're a remarkable person. I also love the "awkwardness" of his collections.
SIZE MATTERS
Plus size model Crystal Renn is making her second editorial appearance in V magazine.
Styled by Robbie Spencer and photographed by Richard Burbage, Renn takes the role of a
Spanish flamingo dancer. Some seem a bit thrown off by the "plus-sized" issue.
Modeling has always been about an ideal weight, size, and height, but what's your take on it all?
Do you feel "model requirements" should remain in tact, or do you feel the industry is in need of
sprucing up, for the interest of the business? It is a new decade....

Live bands x Jugglers x Balloons x Runways = Fam Irvoll's fashion show.
I've read nothing but how amazing the shows are. Nothing like your average straight to the point
"look at my clothing bitches" catwalks we're normally accustomed to. Irvoll loves
to shake things up, mixing and matching all things exciting. Why put a limit on what's
fashionable or not, when you can make your own rules, and establish your own standards.
I would really love to feature this designer(hopefully she agrees to it). In the meantime,
here's all the spunky shit we missed out on. =]

PETROU/MAN STYLED
Petrou/Man FW 10 Presentation brought something worth discussing. I'm automatically
drawn to garments others would feel isn't "logical" "unwearable" or plain "outrageous".
The Petrou/Man by Nicolas Petrou presentation was styled by Robbie Spencer and
contained textures,prints, and fabrics that complimented each other in an interesting way.

The illustrations I'm featuring are the work of none other than Sabine Pieper. Living and working as a
photographer and free lance illustrator in Berlin, Germany, her work has been seen in Elle Magazine, Gestalten Art Editions, and Mykromag to list a few. Ms. Pieper recently emailed me the news of her
two week old daughter so she isn't able to answer questions. However, she was still interested in having her
work posted on the blog site.(woohoo) Here's more of her illustrations.

Born in Goteborg, Sweden, from mother of Indian decent and father of Australian. Kelly was found at a cafe in 2008. Slowly becoming internationally known, she is now working in Sweden untill she is old enough to model abroad. Definitely keep your eyes on this one. This is only the beginning for Mrs. Gale...

Alwina Kowa--The tuff girl who moves gracefully, was spotted in the supermarket by SMC Model Managemnt. Born in Moscow, but raised in Germnay snice the age of 6, is Russian and French. She has that "IT" factor for me. She seems like she can play both roles. I like that--VERSTILE!
