LONDON LOVE: LN-CC
London boutique LN-CC are set to launch their store autumn/fall 2010. With online store opening later this month and physical space in October, what can we expect that we haven't already seen? What concept could they present worth the time of consumers--brilliant enough to grab our interest yet sleek enough to leave us craving?
The store will stock brands centered around the concept of unisex styling as well as music books, and limited worldwide releases. It will also play host to a library, gallery space, and sound system--and initially based on an appointment only basis. <--Exclusive Shit.
Figured I'd brand tease you with a look at one of the labels hosted, Sasquatch.
EHSANI CAPSULE COLLECTION
Melody Ehsani designed collections catering to the women needs.
This fall she shifts gears and expand her designs for the male ego. Set to release August 27th,
the collection features pins including the Varsity, Galaxy, and Spaceman pin with the given option to customize colors and letters for the Varsity pin. While I'm sure feminine persuasion will occur in wardrobes, the testosterone population should send their thank yous to Melody for providing them a means to style those fall essentials this season.
YOU MADE ME
Assemble the coldest girl gang and you get MadeMe AW 10. Far from a dull outlook, the lookbook features Kim Ann Foxman, Victoria Brito, Lady Miss Kier, Nicole + Natalie, and

INFLUENCE ON MENSWEAR
Let's talk about menswear. When discussed, people often say it's limited. There's no re-invention and nothing breath taking or fresh about it. Designers Timo Weiland and Simon Spurr beg to differ.
Being British, Spurr holds heavy British influence in his aesthetic.
Timo Weiland & Alan Eckstein design spontaneously. Crafting ideas mentally, they
don't abide by rules. Bringing a different approach to American menswear, get inside
the designers' thoughts in this video presented by Arcade 44.
HEAVY FUNKsion
Consider these snapshots of the designer's sketchbook. Exposing the craft of
Sojourner E.S. & Rafael Cox, "FUNKshion" will visually stimulate the the fashion crazed.
J J HUDSONxLOVEBOX
London Festival was takeover for designer JJ Hudson. Using artisan pieces created by various artists and designers combined with a collage of his current collection, NOKI
presented the first ever catwalk show. 20 girls with 24 different looks, the people
behind it all included stylist Kim Howells and designers Piers Atkinson, Craig Lawrence,
and Dr. Hook. With the new store opening as well, NOKI has all eyes set on them.
COMEY OXFORDS
Rachel Comey gives the guys something to lust over. Her shoe collection
features Oxfords perfect for the well dressed male in any given season. In honesty,
I would love every pair for my personal satisfaction. I promise to wear them well.

ELEVEN YEARS OF STYLE
I'm browsing the web in search of inspiration, and I come across Evita Nuh. This 11 year
old Indonesian blogger interests are fashion and photography and no, that isn't cliche.
She doesn't sit front row blogging the latest to hit the runway or discuss the latest trends of the season. It's more of a real life diary being typed and published for the world to scrutinize.
Her style doesn't consist of high price labels and names you can't pronounce. It's a vibrant
story pattern that compliments her mood for the day. I'm not saying you should bookmark
it for your daily readings, but every once in a while when you're searching for a breath of
fresh air, you should pay her a visit. --> jellyjellybeans
Always thinking, if only school would allow me to dress this way, like a hoodlum. I bet theres no one in any chance brave enough to pick a quarrel with me. yeah... If only.....- Evita Nuh

YAMAMOTO
Dear Yohji Yamamoto, where do I begin?
The construction and tailoring of his pieces exudes the art of design. While the fall
RTW 2010 collection proved to be cohesive, there were small surprises in each piece.
The color schemes consisted of navy blues, blacks, creams, and grays.
Here are a few of my personal favorites.
