Rihanna and LVMH are partnering on a venture titled Project Loud France. While there’s no specified timeline to launch, it would include menswear, womenswear, kidswear, footwear, eyewear, sportswear, and leather goods to name a few.

As a 49.99 percent shareholder in Project Loud France, Rihanna would be the first black woman to have a fashion brand under the group. In fact, LVMH hasn’t launched a new brand from inception since Christian Lacroix in 1987. She contributed approximately €29,988,000 ($34,101,603.90) as a minority shareholder in what could be a very lucrative partnership for both Rihanna and LVMH. 

While we have to wait on details, like the brand’s name and expected release, it’s still really exciting news.
